Recovery Services

Adult Programs

Prevention Services

Prevention Services

Supportive Housing Solutions Recovery Residences are sober living facilities and transitional residences. We specialize in helping men with 3 to 9 months of sobriety to lay the foundation for a life of long-term recovery.

SHS is a sober living home, not an addiction treatment center or medical facility. We do not have a medical staff or counseling staff, but we make referrals and facilitate appointments with outside counselors and medical providers.

At SHS Recovery our focus is on helping our adult male clients reenter society as productive members. We promote a simple, mature path to long-term recovery using family, community, and the Twelve Step program.

The residents all participate in these daily activities in the community under the close supervision of program director, who has been working hands-on as the director of sober living communities at this level since 2018.

Maintaining sobriety and engaging in Twelve Step work with a sponsor are requirements for being a resident at SHS Recovery. All residents are given random drug and alcohol tests throughout their stay to ensure the community remains drug and alcohol free.

Safe, Structured, and Affordable Sober Living

At our facility, we provide residents with a safe, clean, structured, and supervised environment with the necessary accountability for them to begin their life in recovery.

All clients at SHS Recovery find and maintain a job, participate in weekly house meetings with the program director, attend multiple Twelve Step Meetings per week, find a sponsor, work the Twelve Steps, are accountable to their housemates and the program director on a daily basis, and help with the upkeep of the halfway home.

Our program utilizes a wide spectrum of resources from the community to help the individual reconnect to others in meaningful and purposeful ways. Connection is the opposite of addiction. The main components of our program are 12-step participation, spiritual development, life skills training, health/wellness, drug screening, community events, and personal recovery coaching and planning. We provide the tools: structure, accountability and community. It is up to the individual to provide the willingness to put in the work and the perseverance to see it through. The adage, “You get out what you put in.” is and always will be true.
