Who We Are
We Welcome "Newcomers" & Migrants
We have created a Transitional Living Community here in Georgia to serve those in need. SHS, partners with other non-profit community and governmental organizations. We identify and provide housing alternatives to persons or families who are "Newcomers" or returning to the community due to mental health challenges, incarceration, substance dependency disability, and we proudly serve veterans. Our transitional programs tap into the community resources to disrupt negative patterns and behaviors in order to manifest a new vision.
We work with individuals to build self-esteem and sustainable life skills and support. Our vision is to address the hurtles of poor economics and homelessness and reverse the tide.
We provide affordable safe temporary and permanent housing, life skills assistance, referral and counseling, job placement and other wrap around services necessary to sustain self-sufficiency. We strive to give our residents the tools and resources to obtain successful outcomes.
